Under 30 month: Prime bullocks (22) averaged 233.3p (-6p) and sold to 249p per kg for a 625kg Charolais cross from Nether Mains, Torphins, and £1,709.40 for a 770kg Simmental cross from Faichfolds, King Edward.

Prime heifers (21) averaged 236.9p (-7.6p) and sold to 261p per kg for a 620kg Aberdeen-angus cross from Mains of Dumbreck, Udny, and £1,666 for a 680kg Limousin cross from Hillocks, Whiterashes. Young bulls (two) averaged 189.5p and sold to 225p per kg for a 645kg Aberdeenangus from Milton of Collieston, Ellon, and £1,703.40 for a 1,020kg Simmental from Brownhill Croft, Methlick.

30 to 48 month: Bullocks (five) averaged 185.5p and sold to 219p per kg for a 480kg Limousin cross from Wairds Farm, Downies, and £1,575.90 for a 765kg Charolais from Troup, Home Farm.

Beef feeding cows (55) averaged £1,090.09 and sold to £1,210 for a 602kg Simmental cross from Skail, Westray. Boning cows (19) averaged £776.57 and sold to £975 for a 688kg Simmental from Allancreich, Ballogie.

Bulls (12) averaged £1,326.66 and sold to £1,710 for a 1,325kg Simmental from Easter Cardno, Fraserburgh.

Old season prime lambs SQQ up to 45.5kg (905) averaged 298.4p per kg (+13.6p). Sheep over one-year-old (59) averaged 214.4p per kg and sold to 252.3p per kg and £133.50.
