Trust’s handy summer checklist
Fife Coast and Countryside Trust has put together a handy checklist of exciting events to keep anyone stuck for fun and free activities this summer occupied.
Activities featured in the comprehensive guide include hunting for fossils, searching rock pools, geocaching, photography and wildlife spotting, with Fife home to everything from red squirrels to dolphins.
For those looking for some adventure, there are plenty of opportunities to get the bike out of the shed and explore some of the great cycle routes around Fife.
The 11-mile path from Kincardine to Limekilns offers a brilliant insight into modern industry, heritage and iconic bridges, or discover the ever-changing landscape at Tentsmuir.
And with 15 award-winning beaches and countless other quiet and peaceful coves along the Fife coastline, all the family can enjoy a picnic or a leisurely walk along the sandy stretches,
