Mystery ladies

Regarding the picture below, Susan Mackay of Dundee writes: “Recently I came across this photo in my grandparents’ photo collection.

“They are both dead now so are unable to help me identify the people in this photo. Today’s picture is taken from our archives and shows South Union Street and Riverside Drive on a sunny day in 1956. Although a lot has changed in the last 60 years, the view is still recognisable.

“I wonder if there is anyone in Courier Country who might recognise them.

“My grandfather’s surname is Watt and my grandmother’s maiden name is Brebner.”
