Police investigate after spate of high-value vehicle thefts in Fife
Police have appealed for witnesses after a number of high-value car thefts in Fife.
Officers are investigating the latest incident in Knapphill, Dunfermline, in which a black Mercedes GLA – said to be worth in excess of £30,000 – was stolen sometime between 10pm and 11.30pm on Wednesday August 24.
The car has since been recovered outwith Fife, but police have confirmed there have been several similar crimes in west Fife of late where high-value cars have been targeted.
Detective Sergeant Kelly McEwan, of Dunfermline CID, said: “Although this vehicle has been recovered, we are still eager to trace those responsible.”
