Less than 24 hours after finishing third at the Scottish Trail Running Championships at Falkland, Patryk Gierjatowicz (HBT) won the Barry Buddon Half Marathon, incorporating the East of Scotland Championships. The Edinburgh athlete clocked 71 minutes and 23 seconds – 97 seconds ahead of 2015 winner Bryan Mackie (Edinburgh AC). Central AC’s Jennifer Wetton was 10th overall, first female in 77.35 followed by Katie Jones (Fife AC) 29th in 83.53.
