Less than 24 hours after finishing third at the Scottish Trail Running Championsh­ips at Falkland, Patryk Gierjatowi­cz (HBT) won the Barry Buddon Half Marathon, incorporat­ing the East of Scotland Championsh­ips. The Edinburgh athlete clocked 71 minutes and 23 seconds – 97 seconds ahead of 2015 winner Bryan Mackie (Edinburgh AC). Central AC’s Jennifer Wetton was 10th overall, first female in 77.35 followed by Katie Jones (Fife AC) 29th in 83.53.
