Hull hope to complete triple signing boost

Hull are expected to bolster their depleted ranks by signing three new players today.
Caretaker boss Mike Phelan has had to work with 13 fit senior players following a summer of turmoil at the KCOM Stadium.
Previous manager Steve Bruce quit over his frustration at the lack of new arrivals following promotion in May as Hull’s owners, the Allam family, continued to work on the sale of the club to a Chinese consortium.
But Phelan is now on the verge of making his first signings at Hull and it is understood that will include the recruitment of Scotland goalkeeper David Marshall along with a midfielder and striker.
It has been reported that former England Under-21 striker Will Keane is having a medical on Humberside ahead of a permanent move from Manchester United.
Hull’s capture of Marshall from Cardiff for a £5 million fee is also expected to be confirmed today.
Marshall, 31, has made more than 280 appearances for Cardiff since joining from Norwich in 2009.
Hull are also keen to strengthen their midfield and are understood to have met Tottenham’s valuation of Ryan Mason.
But they have other options and are believed to be in talks with Derby’s Republic of Ireland international Jeff Hendrick and Norway playmaker Markus Henriksen.
Hull, though, are in danger of losing Abel Hernandez before tomorrow’s transfer deadline, with Aston Villa showing interest in the Uruguay striker.
West Brom have signed Nacer Chadli from Tottenham for a club record fee of £13m.
The midfielder has penned a fouryear deal at the Hawthorns but his fee will soon be eclipsed when the Baggies complete an expected £15m deal for Malaga’s Ignacio Camacho.
Liverpool have agreed a £6m deal to sell midfielder Luis Alberto to Lazio.
The Serie A side will pay £4.3m up front with a further £1.7m in add-ons.
Southampton yesterday announced the signing of attacking midfielder Sofiane Boufal from Lille on a five-year deal for a club-record fee, believed to be in the region of £16m.
