Series of electric blanket testing sessions planned next month

The nights are drawing in and the cold weather isn’t far away, but is your electric blanket up to scratch?

That’s the question Fife Council’s trading standards and Fife Cares will be asking at electric blanket testing sessions next month.

Events will take place in Rosyth’s Parkgate Community Centre from 10am to 1pm on Tuesday September 6, St Andrews’ Victory Memorial Hall from 10am to 2pm on Thursday September 15, and Kirkcaldy’s Templehall Community Centre from 10am to 2pm on Wednesday September 21.

The Community Safety Partnership is also continuing its block adapter exchange scheme, where people who use a block adapter can bring it along and swap it for a safer four-way bar adapter.
