Rosco theft devastates LeOnard
Dog owners have been living in fear since eight-month-old border terrier Rosco was stolen a fortnight ago.
Rosco, a birthday present to 82-year-old Dundonian Leonard Ormond, was allegedly abducted by a middleaged driver of a white van.
Online appeals to track down the suspected abductor have since been shared more than one million times and heartbroken owner Leonard has appeared on national television appealing for information on his pup’s whereabouts.
The Courier revealed last week that volunteers believe they have identified the man behind the theft.
They posted details to a social media account that warned the suspected thief of their discovery.
A £1,100 reward has been put up for the safe return of Rosco, but as of yet no one has come forward.
