Trainer believes Fury will return to ring next year

-

Tyson Fury’s trainer believes the WBA and WBO heavyweight world champion will return to the ring early next year.

Fury was due to defend his belts against Wladimir Klitschko next month but has been declared medically unfit, postponing the rematch for a second time.

Promoter Eddie Hearn has since suggested that Fury’s career could be over, but that has been denied by the world champion’s trainer and uncle Peter Fury.

“I don’t want to see him step one foot in that ring until I’ve got a 100% Tyson Fury back, mentally and physically,” Peter Fury told BaylorIC TV Boxing Channel.

“The best place for him is where he is – relaxing at home. He’ll probably be back early next year.”
