3.15 pm local time, August2: David stops answering his phone, after telling his wife he was tired while hiking.

4pm: Chris failedt o return for a business conference in Marie. A person claimed David asked for directions to Marie.

4.30pm: Locals and police start a search.

August3: Mountain police are joined by Chris and there st of the family in the search.

August10: Search scaled back but case open.

Now: Family working with French police to keep the case in the public eye and hope local hunters could spot clues.
