Police released CCTV images from the bank of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft.

Officers will return to the village to conduct further investigations with locals, and said extensive inquiries had already been carried out – including CCTV footage examination and door-to-door interviews.

Police hope returning scene could help identify witnesses.

Detective Inspector Tom Leonard said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen or heard anything suspicious to speak to our officers and help us with our inquiries.”
