CARDENDEN The next meeting of Cardenden Community Council will be held at 7 tonight in the Corrie Centre. COMMUNITY COUNCIL A busy agenda is planned for Townhill Community Council’s first meeting of 2017 which starts at 7 tonight in the community centre.

Suggestion­s will be put forward for additional traffic calming measures in the village in response to some complaints made late last year. BALLROOM DANCING Ballroom tuition is held in St John’s Church Hall in Cupar on Friday evenings from 7 to 9pm. Everybody is welcome. DALGETY BAY FOLK CLUB Dalgety Bay Folk Club present the Mad Ferret Band at the Woodside Hotel in Aberdour at 8pm tomorrow.

Tickets are priced £5 for members and £10 for guests and they can be purchased by calling 01383 822732. SENIOR CITIZENS TEA PARTY A senior citizens tea party will be held at St Andrews Town Hall from 1.30 to 4pm tomorrow.

FARMERS’ MARKET Cupar Farmers’ Market will run in Crossgate from 9am to 1pm on Saturday. WALKING CLUB Fife Walking Club meets at 10.30am on Saturday for a 4.5 mile walk around East Lomond and Falkland.
