Couple left Fife for life in Portugal

-

Residents of Lochgelly appeared to know little of their former neighbours when The Courier spoke to people yesterday.

The couple shared a small house on the town’s Main Street until they moved away around three years ago.

One member of the community did remember seeing Ms Khan in town, however.

Anita McDonald, who works in a shop, said: “I remember seeing her about, though it was a few years ago now.

“She was very tall but she used to look a bit bedraggled.

“She had a big dog, an Irish setter I think they’re called, and I would see her walking that sometimes. “I never spoke to her though.” It would appear Mr Pennycook had been a director of a company called PTC (183) Limited.

He was appointed in May 2007 and resigned from that post in March 2010.

The company is now dissolved.
