Student wins hotel scholarship

A Fife student will be working at one of Scotland’s top resorts as a reward for her commitment to her studies.

Julia Sherriffs from Dunfermline has been awarded a placement at the five-star Gleneagles Hotel. The 17-year-old, who is on an NQ Events course at Fife College, received the scholarship from industry body HIT Scotland.
