Four in hospital after road crash
Four people were taken to hospital after a serious road accident in South Lanarkshire.
The accident, which involved a Seat Leon and a Dacia Logan, occurred at 8.50am on Sunday on the A71 at Drumclog, Strathaven.
A 46-year-old woman who was driving the Seat was taken to Wishaw General Hospital, where her condition is described as stable.
Her two passengers, a 12-year-old girl and a 50-yearold man, were also taken to the hospital but later released.
The 59-year-old male driver of the Dacia was taken to Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock, and then returned home.
