Investors tune in to TV analytics firm
TV Squared, an Edinburgh-based television advertising analytics firm, has raised £5.2 million in a funding round led by Sir Tom Hunter’s West Coast Capital.
The funding was matched by Scottish Enterprise’s investment arm, the Scottish Investment Bank.
Chief executive Calum Smeaton said: “Global TV advertising is continuing to grow because TV is the most effective marketing channel.
“This funding will help us continue to provide advertisers with technology to optimise TV for the greatest response.”
Chris van der Kuyl, chairman of 4J Studios in Dundee, is TV Squared’s chairman.
