Foster and Allen

Rothes Halls, Glenrothes March 25

- nora Mcelhone

It’s hard to believe Foster and Allen have been bringing their own brand of Irish music to the world for 40 years but that is the milestone they will be celebrating during their Scottish Tour.

The duo will visit Rothes Halls as part of their 40th Anniversary Tour.

Fans can look forward to hearing hits including Bunch of Thyme, Maggie, and Old Flames.

Following the release of an anniversary album, Celebration, which reached the UK Top 30, there are sure to be a few renditions of recent recordings such as Galway Girl and Gold and Silver Days.

Mick Foster and Tony Allen first tried out their own brand of easy listening music with a touch of traditional Irish Instruments in the London area in the 1970s – the gigs were a hit and Foster and Allen was born.

The tour also visits Arbroath and Perth.
