FREUCHIE Members of Freuchie Cricket Club have thanked everyone who made last Saturday’s coffee morning a huge success.

More than £1,000 was raised for club funds and organisers thanked all those who sold tickets and donated items, and those who either came along or helped on the day to show their support.

STAMPS AND POSTCARDS The next meeting of Kirkcaldy Stamp and Postcard Club will take place today in Torbain Parish Church, Lindores Drive. Kirkcaldy, at 2pm.

All are welcome.

FOLK CLUB Dunfermlin­e Folk Club is hosting guitarist Al Hughes at the Thistle Tavern at 8pm today.

Entry is £6 and all are welcome to attend.

MUSIC CLUB The St Andrews Music Club hosts the final concert of their 64th season tomorrow at 7.30pm in the Byre Theatre.

The performers will be the Fitzwillia­m String Quartet.

Tickets for the concert are available online at byretheatr­e. com and are also available from the Byre box office.

They can also be purchased on the evening.

HERITAGE GROUP Markinch Heritage Group will host a talk entitled Wish You Were Still Here, by Eric Simpson tomorrow at 7pm.

The event, which will take place at the 252 Memorial Hall in Betson Street, will look at outdoor swimming pools across Scotland from their heyday to decline.

Entrance is £2 for non-members.

DIABETES MEETING North East Fife Diabetes Scotland group A meeting will be held ay 10am on Saturday in Hope Park church hall in St Andrews.

There will be a short presentati­on on yoga for people living with diabetes as well as the chance to network with others living with the condition.

CABARET A Howe Rotary fundraiser will start at 7pm on Saturday April 8 in Pitlessie Village Inn.

Cabaret artist Danny Phoenix, who specialise­s in swing and music of the 1960s will perform.
