HISTORY SOCIETY Edwina Proudfoot will give a talk on East Neuk churches and their treasures at Elie and Earlsferry History Society’s meeting in Elie Church Hall tonight at 7.30.

All are welcome and a donation will be accepted by non members of EEHS.

Tea, coffee, biscuits and a chat will be available.

CHURCH Tulliallan and Kincardine Parish Church will hold its Maundy Thursday service tonight at 7.

The Easter service is at 11am on Sunday and the Young Church also meets at 11am.

ACCORDIONS The next meeting of the Button Key Accordion and Fiddle Club will start tonight at 7 in Windygates Institute. The guest artist will be Tony Kearney.

GALLERY AND TEAROOM Birchwood Cottage gallery and tearoom opens its doors for the season tomorrow.

Afterwards it will be open from Friday to Sunday, between 10am and 4pm.

All profits and donations from customers at the Balmungo, St Andrews, venue will go to Mary’s Meals and CHAS.

Around £50,000 has been raised for these charities in the last four years.

BOTANIC GARDEN The Friends of St Andrews Botanic Garden enjoyed a talk from garden director James Hearsum.

DRAMA TIME Aberdour Players’ Youth Theatre presents The Witches tomorrow and Saturday at 7pm in Aberdour Primary School.

Tickets are available on the door or from Heart’s Desire and the Purple Shop in the village.

EASTER Kirkcaldy’s Rabbit Braes Developmen­t Group will host an Easter family fun day on Sunday from 1.30 to 3.30pm.

Families are invited to bring a picnic, ahead of egg decorating sessions, games and a treasure hunt. The event takes place at the Rabbit Braes MUGA.

Cost is £1 per child, including a goody bag.

FUN DAY Townhill Community Council is holding an Easter fun day at Townhill Loch from 1 to 3pm on Saturday.

It is a ticket only event and each child will get an Easter egg.
