Woman shot in anti-terror raid

A woman was shot by police and four people were arrested last night as part of a counterterrorism operation in London and Kent.

The woman in her twenties was injured during the swoop at an addressinnorthLondon, shortly before 7pm.

All four are being held on suspicion of the commission, preparation andinstigationofterrorist acts. The woman was taken to hospital but was not arrested due to her condition, which was not disclosed.

The operation was not connected to the earlier incident in Whitehall.
