MOCK BATTLES A medieval reenactmen­t society will turn back the clock for its annual Beltaine fair in St Andrews tomorrow.

The Shire of Caer Caledon will stage mock battles at the event on Madras College lawn, South Street, from 10am to 4pm.

There will also be medieval crafts, living history displays, medieval music, combat demonstrat­ions and tournament­s and a traditiona­l maypole. Other reenactmen­t groups made up of local students, including Regia Anglorum and the Company of St Margarets, will also be there. CRAFT FAIR Tayport’s Auld Kirk Charitable Trust is inviting artists and crafters to apply for display space at its annual show.

The event takes place from June 16 to 18, from 11am to 5pm daily, in the Auld Kirk, next to Tayport Primary School. Tables can be booked through Maureen Campbell on 01382 553856. WALKERS Fife Walking Club next meets at 9.45am tomorrow, at the north car park in Atholl Street, Dunkeld.

The group will catch the bus to start a scenic walk from Bankfoot through Glen Garr to Rumbling Bridge and back to Dunkeld via the Hermitage. OPEN STUDIO Artist Kirsty Lorenz will host an open studio event from tomorrow to Monday at her studio on Platform 2 of Ladybank Railway Station. The studio will be open from 10am to 6pm daily. COFFEE MORNING Cameron Church Guild’s annual coffee morning will be held tomorrow in St Andrews Town Hall, from 10am to 11.30am. Admission is £2. All are welcome. TOP STUFF The Friends of Tulliallan and Kincardine Church will hold a table top sale tomorrow from 10am to noon in the Masonic Hall. TOWNHILL DORCAS Townhill and Kingseat Church Dorcas Group is to hold an open day in Townhill Church from 2pm to 3.30pm on Monday. Entry is free and everyone is invited to go for a tea, chat and chance to buy hand-knitted garments.
