OPEN DAY Cupar Bowling Club will hold an open day from 2 to 5pm tomorrow.

It takes place in Bowling Green Road. ROTARY Kirkcaldy Rotary Club heard from Rotarian and businessma­n Zahid Mukhtar.

He talked about his life, include the escape of his alpacas on to Leslie High Street. PLANT SALE Scotland’s Gardens will host a spring plant sale at Kellie Castle tomorrow from 10.30am to 3pm. Admission to the grounds is £2.50, free for children under 16 years.

All proceeds go to Scotland’s Gardens beneficiar­ies. QUILTS There will be a display of Cupar Quilters’ panels on aspects of the town and its story at Cupar Heritage Centre.

The Cupar station centre is open every Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday this month from 2-4.30pm on Sundays and Wednesdays and 10.30am to 1.30pm on Saturdays. COMPANIONS The Good Companions group of Culross and Torryburn Church meets at 7pm on Monday.

All are welcome to the meeting in High Valleyfiel­d Church. ARTS SOCIETY Fife Decorative and Fine Arts Society’s next lecture is Foundation­s of Fashion, and will look at the history of underwear from the 18th to the 20th Century.

It will take place on Tuesday May 9 in Cupar Corn Exchange and the audience should be seated by 1.50pm for a 2pm start.
