Awards for town’s new galleries

Dunfermlin­e’s new Carnegie Library and Galleries is not only wowing the crowds, but architects as well.

The £12 million building, which opened its door to the public last month, picked up two gongs at the Royal Incorporat­ion of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) awards. Fife Council also scooped the Scottish Government’s “Client of the Year” award.
