Secondary school pupils try out tennis as part of sport initiative
Dunfermline Tennis Club hosted a tennis festival organised by Disability Sport Fife (DSF).
The culmination of the second year of the DSF Tennis Academy, the initiative was supported by Dunfermline Tennis Club head coach Alan Russell and Gary Whitton from Kirkcaldy Lawn Tennis Club.
Pupils with additional support needs from Balwearie and Woodmill high schools were given coaching in the lead up to the festival. School support staff and volunteers assisted throughout the event.
It was part of the Get Out Get Active initiative encouraging people to be more active. Youngsters involved are being encouraged to sign up for inclusive tennis programmes.
