“I was admiring Eric Niven’s picture of Glen Tilt in your column on Wednesday but, on reading the description, I noticed a mistake,” says Joe Millar of Forfar.

“It is Strathardle (not Strathbraan) that you take off from to do that run up by Fealar Lodge and into Glen Tilt. I have done this on a few occasions by mountain bike and have also both walked and cycled Glen Tilt a number of times over the years.
