SOLO EXHIBITION An Auchtermuc­hty-based artist has attended her first London solo exhibition.

Marie Louise Wrightson is now signed to Wishbone Publishing and will be releasing her third collection. The new works are an eclectic mix of comic book heroes, villains and film icons, such as Harley Quinn, Catwoman and Kill Bill’s The Bride.

BOYS’ BRIGADE Billy Anderson and the Kilrymont Accordion and Fiddle Band will again perform an evening of Scottish music as a fundraiser in support of the St Andrews Boys’ Brigade.

Tickets are available at the door of the Boys’ Brigade Hall tonight at 7.30pm.

DEMENTIA CAFE A Wednesday café for dementia sufferers and their carers runs from 2pm to 3pm today in Cupar’s Old Parish Centre.

FOLK CLUB Dunfermlin­e Folk Club at the Monarch Bar welcomes Ceabhar, a Celtic folk duo from Denmark, at 8pm tonight.

CROQUET CLUB Anyone wishing to find out more about croquet should join in Fife

Croquet Club’s twice-weekly sessions at Hill of Tarvit near Ceres. They play every Thursday from 12.50pm to 3.45pm until the end of October and from 6pm to 8.15pm on Tuesdays until the end of August. For details, call Mike Sawyer on 01382 542311.

GLENROTHES Bill Fiet will give a presentati­on entitled “A Cut Above – A Talk on the River Leven” tomorrow at 7pm.

The event takes place at the Glenrothes and Area Heritage Centre at the Kingdom Shopping Centre. Entry for non-members is £3.

NATIONAL TRUST A den-building session with a National Trust ranger will be on offer at Hill of Tarvit from 2pm to 4pm tomorrow.

TOMATOES The newly-establishe­d Friends of Lomond View Nursing Home in Falkland have embarked on a new project.

Janine Adair of Visit Falkland led a tomato planting session, helping residents and relatives to pot them up.
