Show and sale of prime Texel lambs

Caledonian Marts Ltd sold 1,499 prime lambs, hoggets, ewes and tups. Prime lambs (919) averaged 211.5ppkg (-3.1ppkg on the week and +27.5ppkg on the year). Included in the sale was the show and sale of prime Texel lambs, held in conjunction with the Scottish Texel Sheep Breeders Club. Champion – RA Campbell, Meikle Seggie, Milnathort, 41kgs, £116.
