A deer stalker whose knowledge of Scotland’s moorland species sparked a pioneering wildlife tourism attraction in Perthshire has landed a national award. Sandy Reid, 73, of Atholl Estates was at the forefront of a 2005 move to showcase the estate’s wildlife to visitors through a Land Rover safari.
