Hard-working JEANFIELD SWIFTS took their first points of the season, beating visitors Bo’ness 2-0. Rhys Davies scored in each half, the first a spot-kick. Daniel Kelly had a penalty saved.

CARNOUSTIE opened their points account with a 3-2 win over Broxburn.

A Ryan Dignan goal in 21 minutes was countered by a 42nd-minute penalty.

Pat Martin restored their lead within a minute.

Dignan scored again after 62 minutes. Martin was sent off for a second caution six minutes later, and the 10-man hosts conceded a stoppage-time counter.

LOCHEE UNITED’s fine start to the season continued with a second successive emphatic win on the road, a 4-0 victory at Sauchie. Connor Birse bagged a hat-trick, while Bryan Deasley was also on target to take the Bluebells’ tally to 11 in three games.

BROUGHTY were denied a hat-trick of victories at KENNOWAY STAR HEARTS who held the Fed to a 1-1 draw.

Indeed, Liam Craig gave the hosts the lead after 25 minutes. However, the Fed had a chance to level matters on 39 minutes when Kevin Milne was brought down in the box for a penalty, but Paul McLellan’s effort was saved by KSH man of the match Robbie Paterson.

The Fed did equalise just before the break, through Milne, for their 100th Super League goal.

At Keirs Park, HILL OF BEATH lost to FORFAR WEST END, who won their first points of the campaign.

Callum Petrie’s fifth-minutes strike proved to be the only goal of the game.

The Haws gave 15-year-old Luke Shaw his debut from the bench.

Penicuik won 3-1 at DUNDONALD BLUEBELL, whose consolation was a last-minute Adam Moffat penalty.
