Pansies missing trio for visit of Bleachers

-

North League leaders Violet overcame promotion contenders North End last week and face another today when Luncarty check in at Glenesk.

The Pansies are likely to be without Barry Wilson, Scott Tovey and Dave O’Neil.

Meanwhile, the Bleachers are boosted by the return of striker Richard Doig and attacking midfielder Sean Fergus, but Dale Smart, Andy Kirkcaldy and Nathan Kennedy are all absent.

Joint leaders Arbroath Vics hope to keep their 100% record going at home to Brechin Vics.

They are missing striker Lee Jones and could include a trialist, while after their first win last week Brechin Vics are likely to be same again.

East Craigie, the third side to have won all three games, are away to Blairgowrie.

With Gordon Pirie and Greg McDonald returning, Blair’s hopes of ending that run are boosted.

Apart from Sean Reekie, the Shipbuilders are at full strength.

Coupar Angus host North End and are boosted by last season’s top scorer Chris Liversedge’s availability and Jake Tulloch’s return from injury as they look to break their points duck.

The Dokens, who haven’t started as well as expected, will be without Ross Sievewright, Zak Wilson and Michael Stewart.

Kinnoull boss Alan Cameron’s hopes of having a full squad to choose from is only a pipe-dream at the moment.

For Harp’s visit he welcomes back five, only for six to be ruled out through injury.

Harp are also hit by absentees, with Josh Perera, Ryan McKillen, Liam Roddie, Sam Hodgson and Graham Allan all out.

Only a point separates Scone Thistle and Newburgh, who meet at Farquharson Park.

With Arron Mackay back from holiday, Thistle are at full strength.

Newburgh’s massive makeover under Alan Fortune continues unabated with three further signings this week, with two of them being former Burgh players.

They are midfielder Blair Smart, after a stint with Glenrothes, and Scott Peletier who has played for Dalry Thistle, Luncarty and Kinnoull.

Both are included in the squad, along with the other new addition, defender Lewis Galloway, who has signed on a delayed contract from Eastvale U19s.

Forfar Albion, who are still looking for their first points of the season, face Lochore Welfare at Guthrie Park.
