HARD OF HEARING GROUP The Dunfermline Hard of Hearing Group is seeking new members.
The group is holding its next meeting at New City House in Edgar Street today from 2 to 4pm.
Meetings are held every fortnight and allow those who are hard of hearing to meet other people and get advice and helpful information.
OPPORTUNITIES IN FIFE The Opportunities Fife Partnership is hosting an open “market place” event for anyone in Fife seeking support to get on the road to employment.
The event will take place at the Carnegie Conference Centre from 3.30 to 4.30pm today.
It will have stalls from around 40 different organisations from general employment provision such as Fife Employment and Training Consortium and Fife Council to specialists in volunteering, families support, benefits advice or drugs and alcohol support.
Attendants will be able to browse the stalls, meet the staff and sign up for support on the spot. KINGHORN SINGERS The Kinghorn Singers are preparing to start a new session and they want people from the Kingdom with a passion for singing to join them.
The first practice takes place tomorrow from 6.30 to 8.30pm in the small hall of St Bryce Kirk, St Brycedale Avenue, Kirkcaldy, and thereafter each Thursday.
Anyone interested in joining the choir can attend the practice and get more information.
ACOUSTIC MUSIC CLUB Americana-duo The Black Feathers have confirmed they will play at Kirkcaldy Acoustic Music Club tomorrow.
ROTARY Howe of Fife Rotarians heard about the group’s Rotaract scheme in Dunbog Primary School.
Seven children have joined and are engaged in tasks helping the school and wider community.
The youngsters intend to put together backpacks of Mary’s Meals.
