Chance for a look behind the scenes of reinvented building
For the first time ever, the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration (SCRA) is taking part in Doors Open Day this weekend and welcoming members of the public into its Perth hearings centre.
After a long period sitting empty, Belhaven House, which was formerly offices for the Scottish brewer, was refurbished and given new life as a Children’s Hearings centre.
It was officially opened in November 2016 after children and young people with experience of going to children’s hearings themselves were involved in the design of the interior.
The building, which is next to the Fergusson Gallery on Marshall Place, will open its doors on Saturday from 10.30am-3pm.
