High Noon Lunch to be top draw of Business Week

The chief executive of Angus Council will give a keynote address to business leaders today.

Margo Williamson is one of the principal speakers at the Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce High Noon Lunch at Carnoustie Golf Hotel.

She is due to talk about the council’s approach to supporting the young workforce.

Other contributors include Sylvia Douglas of MsMissMrs, a community interest company helping empower women and girls facing esteem and self-awareness issues.

Guests at the lunch – which is the centrepiece of Angus Business Week – will also hear from social entrepreneur and Brewgooder beer founder Alan Mahon.

The beer company he launched donates all of its profits to supporting clean water projects.

He is also a trustee of the Social Bite Fund which is tackling homelessness in Scotland.
