KIRKCALDY ART CLUB: Kirkcaldy Art Club celebrated Doors Open Day by welcoming almost 90 people.

Visitors came from all over Fife and some overseas visitors from Charlottev­ille in North Carolina, Thailand and the Philippine­s also popped in.

LADYBANK: The next meeting of the Ladybank and District Community Council will be held tomorrow at 7.30pm in the Wildside/ Ladybank Tavern.

All are invited to attend and new members are welcome.

HERITAGE LECTURE: Andrew Kerr will give an illustrate­d lecture on the Grand Fleet in the Forth for Aberdour Heritage Centre’s annual lecture at 7.30pm tomorrow in the village’s community centre.

Mr Kerr was consultant naval historian for the recent BBC progamme Scotland’s War at Sea.

BOOK EVENT: Author Helen McClory will be at Waterstone­s in St Andrews at 6.30pm tomorrow to talk about her debut novel, Flesh of the Peach.

CONCERT: Fife Electronic Organ Society’s season opens with a performanc­e by Steve Hubble on his Yamaha Tyros keyboard system.

The concert takes place in St Columba’s Church, Glenrothes, at 7pm tomorrow.

BUSINESS: St Andrews Business Club is hosting the first open event of its new season with a talk by social and digital media consultant Pauline Randall of Florizel Media.

The event takes place tomorrow at the New Golf Club at 5.30pm. Tickets can be booked via the Eventbrite website.

LEAGUE OF FRIENDS: The Adamson Hospital League of Friends will hold an informatio­n afternoon from 3pm to 5pm tomorrow in Adamson Hospital café.

New members are being sought to help raise funds.
