Craigie and Dokens look for second time lucky

-

With no Tayside clubs progressing in the Junior Cup last week, North End and East Craigie are both endeavouring to put that right this week.

Having earned draws away from home after trailing by two goals, both sides showed great character to earn a second chance.

As far as Craigie was concerned – with their goals against Rosyth Recreation coming in the last five minutes – it was snatching a draw from the jaws of defeat.

Not that the Shipbuilders will have home advantage with the upgrading of facilities meaning Craigie Park is still out of bounds, so the tie has been switched to Lochee United’s Thomson Park.

Garry Welsh and Sean Reekie return but Adam Brown and Aiden Benvie are doubts.

Rosyth are without Dean Ogg, Gavin McCann and Steve Slimmings.

Craigie remind clubs that Darren Gray is still available for transfer and interested parties should contact Ade Shearer on 07757550401.

Meanwhile, North End must also be confident of progressing at Glasgow Perthshire’s expense.

However, injury rules out Michael Stewart, Ross Sievewright and Zak Wilson.
