really like Oasis, it’s definitely my favourite shop – I’m there all the time! I like the relaxed but pretty look, not too dressed up but quite tailored – I like to make an effort. I really like Holly Willoughby’s style, she’s got that girl-next-door vibe, which I think Oasis does really well. Maybe that’s why I shop there!

The jacket brings a really smart element but, once removed, it’s a much more laid-back look. It shows she means business but doesn’t take things too seriously either. The suit would look equally as good with white trainers and the jacket sleeves pushed up – relaxed tailoring at its best. The boldest trend of the new season? Head-to-toe red. The first step to creating this look is to find a staple to base the rest of your pieces around; Primark currently has a cherry coat in the simplest of silhouettes – perfect for throwing over trousers or a dress.

For day, wear your red coat over a crimson T-shirt (River Island’s slogan T is right on trend), tucked into the high waist of Topshop’s scarlet, wide-leg trousers. Layer up for the colder months with one of M&S’s poppy cashmere round neck jumpers.

For dates and parties, drape the coat over the shoulders of one of Tiger Lily Boutique’s red body-con dresses. Or, why not make the Topshop trousers work hard this season and wear them with a ruby-hued strapless top and matching choker? This is definitely a trend to which the “go big or go home” rule applies – don’t be afraid to finish the look with yet more red by way of a crossbody bag and pointed, block-heeled shoes or boots.
