BOYS’ BRIGADE The 1st St Andrews Company of the Boys’ Brigade is holding a coffee evening today at 7pm in the Boys’ Brigade Hall.

There will be the usual stalls, including book, bric-a-brac, home baking, raffle and bottle.

DIABETES The Central Fife Diabetes Group will host its next meeting on Saturday.

The event will take place in the Education Centre of the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, from 10am until noon, and will feature a talk from three local health practition­ers – Jenny Blythe, Nicky Credland and Natalie Bate – who will highlight pharmacy services for people with diabetes.

CYCLE RIDE Join Greener Kirkcaldy on a free group cycle ride to Leven on Saturday from 11am to 3pm.

Participan­ts will meet at Ravenscrai­g Park car park, Kirkcaldy. Spaces can be booked via greenerkir­kcaldy.org.uk.

WALKERS Fife Walking Club meets at 10.30am on Saturday for a circular walk from Coronation Road to Kinnoull.

They meet two miles along Isla Road from Perth.

CURLING Kinross Curling will open its doors to people of all ages from 10am to 1.30pm on Sunday.

The event, taking place at Kinross Curling near Green Road, is part of CurlFest.

As well as giving people the chance to learn about the sport, it will raise funds for the charity Cash for Kids.
