Berts add new striker in time for Harthill clash

-

Lochgelly Albert face Harthill at Gardiners Park today, desperate for three points to keep them in the promotion hunt.

However, the visitors will be buoyed by their 8-1 demolition of Newburgh last week.

The Berts yesterday signed Thornton striker Liam Forbes and he is added to last week’s squad.

Rosyth will be looking for a victory from the visit of second-bottom Stoneyburn. Other than suspended pair Baillie Kay and Tam Hampson, the Recs have a full squad.

Crossgates host Armadale hoping to get the win that would see them leapfrog thier Lothian guests into fourth place.

Primrose are without Greg Pearson who begins a two-match suspension.

Oakley are at home to Pumphertson, who drew at Lochgelly last week.

The Fifers are still without Lee Duffy, Barry Allan, James McAteer, Brooklyn Mair and Frasier Heeps as they look to extend an unbeaten run of four league games.

Kirkcaldy YM, who are still looking for their first win of the league season, entertain second-top West Calder.

Kelty Hearts will hope to celebrate becoming SFA members with a sixth straight league win. Given they defeated today’s opponents Eyemouth 11-1 on their East of Scotland debut it would be a major shock if Kelty’s unblemished start doesn’t continue.
