Roselea see red as late penalty puts them in spot of bother

-

Montrose Roselea went into their clash with Ellon United in confident mood following last week’s win.

However, they went down in controversial manner, losing to a stoppage time penalty.

The sides were level 0-0 at the break but Roselea took the lead early in the second half through David Beedie.

Roselea were reduced to 10 men midway through the second 45 as Jordan Reoch was shown a second yellow card following a rash challenge. The visitors seized on their advantage to equalise on 74 minutes through Dean after he raced clear of the defence

Two minutes into added time the visitors were awarded a penalty. Assistant manager Duncan was ordered off for his protestations before Chris Craib calmly slotted the spot-kick home to win the game.

Calum Rae was shown a red card as the game ended for comments made to the referee.

Kelty Hearts went goal crazy at Eyemouth United in the East of Scotland League winning by an incredible 13-0.

Stewart Cargill started things off with the first on eight minutes before Jordyn Sheerin made it 2-0 two minutes later.

Scott-Taylor Mackenzie added a third on 20 minutes before two goals in a minute from Scott Dalziel made it 5-0 at the break.

Dalziel completed his hattrick four minutes into the second half before Mackenzie added a seventh on 59 minutes.

A minute later it was eight from a Stewart Cargill strike. Dalziel hit his fourth on 83 minutes before Mackenzie completed his own hat-trick as Kelty hit double figures with three minutes left.

Eyemouth made a contribution to the goal tally when they turned the ball into their own net to make it 11.

Cargill completed his hattrick in stoppage time and added a fourth two minutes later to make it 13-0.
