B&W Bullocks (53) ave 138.63p to 157.60ppk for a 491kg BFX from Lochlands and to £785 for a 616kg AYX from Fineview.

Heifers (290) ave 201.95p to 241.90ppk for a 241kg CHX from Cornceres, and to £1,230 for a 612kg CHX from Elmscleugh.

Young bulls (39) ave 205.23p to 243.20ppk for a BSX from Drumgrange and £980 for a BSX from Glenkiln.

Cast cows (158) ave 110.48p to 176.20ppk for an SimX from Lindertis, and to £1,390 for a LimX from Airthley Kerse.

Dairy cows (21) ave 100.80p to 127.40ppk for a HOX from Claylands and to £945 for a HFX from Carneil.

Bullocks sold to a top of 248ppkg for a British Blue from D Dickinson, Brockwoodlees, Canonbie and to £1626.24 for a British Blue from WI Wainwright & Sons, Todhall Farm, Cupar.

Heifers sold to 248ppkg twice D Dickinson, Brockwoodlees and one from A Galbraith, Upper Kinneil, Linlithgow and to £1764.72 for a Limousin from C Malone, Pitcairn, Cardenden.

Young bulls sold to 188p from L Laird, Lochhead, East Wemyss and to £1,624.30 from D & L Graham, Mains of Burnbank, Blairdrummond.

Prime bullocks averaged 209ppkg.

Prime heifers averaged 218ppkg.

Young bulls averaged 184ppkg. Beef cows averaged 110ppkg. Dairy cows averaged 88ppkg (for a plainer show forward).

Also forward were 71 cast cows and bulls.

Beef cows sold to £1,620 for a Limousin from AT Mitchell and Son, Nether Glinns, Fintry and to 180p for the same beast.

Dairy cows sold to £780 from R Nelson, Blairmains, Culross and to 112p from R Millar, High Cattadale, Campbelltown.
