DUNFERMLIN­E FOLK FESTIVAL This year’s Dunfermlin­e Folk Weekend will give visitors the chance to hear – and make – some great music.

Running today and tomorrow, it will feature the Ian Walker Band, 50 Shades of Blue and Sylvia Barnes and Sandy Stanage.

Open sessions will be held from 12.30 to 4.30pm both days at the Thistle Tavern.

HARVEST SERVICES Donations for Dunfermlin­e Foodbank will be received at tomorrow’s harvest festival services in Culross and Torryburn Parish Church.

HALLOWEEN OPEN DAY IN BUCKHAVEN The final outdoor open day at Growing Space in Buckhaven by CLEAR will take place from noon to 2.30pm tomorrow and will feature pumpkin carving, ghost stories, food, refreshmen­ts, yoga, sack races and a best costume competitio­n.

The event will give people a chance to see CLEAR’s plans for a new Growing Space in Methil.

HERITAGE TALK A Cupar Heritage talk on the life and world of Cupar-born American-based author Robert Duncan Milne will be given by Barry Sullivan.

It starts at 7.30pm on Monday in the Age Concern premises in the town.

CHURCH EVENTS Tulliallan and Kincardine Parish Church Men’s Club meets at 7.30pm on Monday evening in the hall for a league bowling night.

The guild meets the next night at 7.30pm, also in the hall, for a Shoebox Appeal meeting.

SPEAKERS CLUB Dunfermlin­e Speakers Club will hold its next meeting at 7.30 on Monday evening in the Pitbauchli­e House Hotel, Dunfermlin­e.

ROTARY CLUB Members of the Rotary Club of Kilrymont St Andrews heard about neuro-linguistic programmin­g from guest speaker Barry Collins, who runs Phoenix Firewalk.

He specialise­s in motivation­al theory, as well as team building and management developmen­t courses.
