Q: Who do you detest? A: The current President of the US of A.

Q What’s on your iPod/playing in your car these days? A Cage the Elephant. Q What drives you? A MTB, EMTB, Audi Q5 and Camper Van. Q What’s the best sport in the world?

A Biking. There are so many sides to it. Everyone can do it how it suits them best. It’s also the best way to experience nature. Q First thing you’d do if you won £1 million? A Embark somewhere exotic on an extravagan­t journey with my wife.

Q How many hours do you spend on your bike each week? A About 12 hours give or take. Q Most exciting thing you’ve ever done?

A I got to ride glaciers, volcanos and ancient trails to remote destinatio­ns all around the world. Riding down the side of a 14-storey building (with a rope) on my bike or bungy jumping with my bike got my adrenaline going. Q Who’s your favourite James Bond actor? A Roger Moore. Q What’s your favourite song, ever? A Several come to mind but Hotel California is always a goodie. Q Your house is on fire, what one item do you save? A Kobe our West Highland Terrier and some other precious items. Q Theme song for your life? A Jump Around. Q Last meal on earth? A Haggis. Q Dream dinner party guests? A Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters. Oh wait, that just happened. Q What would be your superhero name? A Hans-anator.

Q A Quiet Quiet nights night in are or nice. big night out? Q Couch potato or fitness fanatic? A There is a time and a place for both. Q Happiest memory? A Getting married to the love of my life. Q And most embarrassi­ng?

A Jumping my bike over a car on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles wearing short pink shorts and sporting a ponytail. Q Biggest regret? A Not riding my bike along the top of the Berlin Wall the day it came down.

A Probably a lucky penny I picked up from the street, one of these superstiti­ous things I have to do when I see one. Q Where would you rather be right now? A In the Umbrian countrysid­e in Italy.
