Mobility scooter man dies

Police have released the name of a man who was found dead after his mobility scooter toppled over in the Borders.

Andrew Goodfellow, 77, was found by a member of the public on the B6359 in Hawick on Thursday morning.

Mr Goodfellow was travelling on the road to Hathendean, near Knowetownhead Townhouse, when his scooter toppled over.
