Bullocks averaged 215p selling to 298p for Limousins from Craigiever­n, Balfron Station, and to £1,140 for a Limousin from Martnaham Mains. Heifers averaged 202p selling to 250p for Simmentals from Kilfiniche­n Estates and to £1,080 for a Limousin from Auchenbowi­e Home Farm, Stirling. Black and white Bullocks averaged 143p selling to 159p from Glenside and to £590 from the same home. United Auctions, Stirling, held its annual sale of in-lamb Suffolk females and ewe lambs. Topping the in-lamb females was a gimmer, scanned in lamb, scanned with a single from Cairness, which realised 900gns. Ewe lambs topped at 300gns from Smaladh. Top prices: In-lamb females – 750, 650, 600, 420gns Cairness. Ewe lambs – 240, 220 Smaladh.
