Shoppers encouraged to support emergency shelter charity
Anstruther Rotary will be holding a collection for ShelterBox at the town’s Co-operative Food store on Saturday.
The charity sends out boxes, containing emergency shelters and tools, to disaster zones.
Colin Campbell from the Rotary club said: “This is a charity which works throughout the world where people find themselves without shelter.
“For example this can be the result of floods, hurricanes or earthquakes and these boxes have been distributed from New Zealand to South America and all points in-between.
“We will have a demonstration box to hand so please come and see it for yourself and help support this great cause.”
