Crusaders and TNS kept apart

Northern Irish side Crusaders and Welsh champions The New Saints were kept apart when the draw for the semi-finals of the Irn-Bru Cup was made yesterday.

Crusaders ended Dundee United’s hopes of retaining the trophy on Saturday and now face a trip to take on Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The New Saints, who edged out Queen of the South in a penalty shoot-out in the quarter-finals, will host Dumbarton.

The semi-finals will be held on February 17 and 18.
