Four accused of child sex offences in Perth

Four members of an alleged paedophile ring have appeared at court.

The group of three men and a woman appeared in private from custody at Perth Sheriff Court yesterday.

They are alleged to have abused four children in a two-year campaign.

Stephen Ferguson, 26, of James Street, Perth, is alleged to have raped a girl numerous times between June 2014 and June 2016 at an address in Perth.

He made no plea and was remanded in custody.

Ryan Dunn is alleged to have raped a different girl on a number of occasions between October 2014 and May 2016.

Dunn is also alleged to have raped a second girl on a number of occasions between the same dates.

Both offences are said to have taken place at addresses in the Perth area.

The 25-year-old, of the city’s St Catherine’s Square, made no plea and was remanded in custody.

Aaron Dunn is alleged to have raped a child at addresses in the Perth area between October 2014 and May 2016.

The 22-year-old, of Drumhar Court, Perth, made no plea and had his plea for bail granted. However the Crown has appealed the decision and Dunn was remanded pending the outcome.

Mary Hodge, 27, is alleged to have sexually assaulted a boy on a number of occasions at addresses in the Perth area between October 2014 and May 2016.

Hodge, of Balgowan Road, Perth, made no plea and bail was granted. The Crown appealed the decision and Hodge was remanded pending the outcome.

The case against all four was continued for further examinatio­n.
