FAIR Cupar in Bloom’s Christmas fair runs from 9.45am today in the Corn Exchange.

HERITAGE GROUP Markinch Heritage Group is holding a craft fair in the 252 Hall, Betson Street, from 10am to 2pm today.

FUNDRAISER The Howe of Fife Community Group, formerly the Ladybank Community Group, is raising funds for the Howe of Fife Surgery to obtain a new defibrilla­tor.

To help this, an indoor arts and crafts fair will be held from 11am to 4pm today and tomorrow.

People are being asked to donate any form of homemade items, jam or chutney, cakes, tablet and sweets, knitting and stuffed toys etc.

EXHIBITION Crail Art Group is holding its Christmas exhibition of original unframed paintings, craft, cards and jewellery in Crail’s Legion Hall, Nethergate, today and tomorrow from 10am to 4pm.

Entry, including tea and coffee, is free and there will be a raffle of an original art work.

WALKERS Fife Walking Club meets at 10.30am tomorrow for an 11-mile Kirkcaldy to Kinghorn circular.

All walkers should meet at Beveridge Park car park in Kirkcaldy.

TALENT CONTEST The grand final of this year’s Fife United Inter Clubs Associatio­n talent contest will take place from 2pm tomorrow in Bowhill Hotel.

All singers will be accompanie­d by organist Jackie Brown and the compere will be Jim Paul.

MUSIC FUN A musical family fun day will be held in Kirkcaldy tomorrow between noon and 4pm.

At the Fife Festival of Music event in Viewforth High School, people will be able to try instrument­s including drum kits and ukuleles and take part in singing and music-making workshops.

Musicians will perform, including Fife Strathspey and Reel Society, Dysart Silver Band and Travelling by Tuba.
