COMMUNITY COUNCIL: There will be no meeting of Townhill Community Council in December.

The next meeting will start at 7pm on Thursday January 18 in the community centre.

FESTIVE FUNDRAISER: Children’s cancer charity Love-Oliver will hold its festive fundraiser tomorrow.

The event at Blacketysi­de Farm Shop, Leven, runs from 6.30pm to 9pm and will include live entertainm­ent and festive refreshmen­ts.

There will also be a quiz, treasure hunt and crafts and a visit from Santa Claus.

QUIZ WINNER: The winner of the quiz organised by the Friends of Tulliallan and Kincardine Parish Church was Colin Sutherland from Kincardine.

ALL SAINTS’ CHURCH: All Saints’ Church in North Castle Street, St Andrews, holds its St Nicholas Fayre tomorrow, from 2pm to 4pm, and on Sunday from 11.30am to 1pm, in the church hall.

There will be the usual Christmas stalls and festive

musical entertainm­ent.

Entry is free and all monies raised will go towards the Church Buildings Restoratio­n Fund.

FREUCHIE SCOUTS: Freuchie Scouts will once again be running their Christmas card postal service this festive season.

Customers can post their cards at Freuchie Spar from today for delivery around the village.

Following the success of last year’s venture, the Scouts are again delivering to a wider area – so villagers are urged to make use of the service by posting cards to Auchtermuc­hty, Kingskettl­e, Ladybank, Pitlessie and Strathmigl­o.

The charge is 30p per card, with all proceeds going to Freuchie Scout Group.

COMPUTER FIX IT: Greener Kirkcaldy is hosting a free computer fix it drop-in event from 10.30am to 2pm in its hub in Kirkcaldy’s High Street on Saturday. Booking is not required. Those in need of help will be seen on a first-come, firstserve­d basis.
