HOUSE FIRE

Firefighte­rs dealt with a small fire at a house in Kirkcaldy in the early hours of yesterday.

Two crews attended the property in Sauchenbus­h Road at 4.03am after a grill pan caught fire. No one was injured.

CAR ACCIDENT

A woman was hurt following a three-car accident in the East Neuk yesterday morning.

Police were called to the B9131 at Beley Bridge near Dunino following a report of a crash involving a Ford Focus, an Audi and another vehicle, at around 9am.

An ambulance was called after one female was said to be in pain, although it is understood she declined to go to hospital after being assessed by paramedics. No one else was injured.

The road was blocked for around two hours before reopening.

CHURCH FAIR

Pathhead Parish Church in Kirkcaldy is holding its 56th Christmas fair today.

Councilor Ian Cameron will open the fair at 2pm and all the usual stalls will be open for business.

Every child who visits Santa will get a free gift.

FOLK CONCERT

Dairsie Memorial Hall Committee is hosting a fundraisin­g concert by traditiona­l Scottish folk singer Andrew Gordon today.

Tickets are on sale priced £7, or £5 for concession­s, from the village shop or by phoning 01334 871414.

MEN’S CLUB

Tulliallan and Kincardine Church Men’s Club meets at 7.30pm on Monday for a league bowling night.

The Guild meets at 7pm for 7.30pm the following evening in Tulliallan Golf Club for Christmas dinner.

COFFEE MORNING

A Christmas coffee morning and raffle in aid of Coastwatch Scotland (St Monans Station) will be held in the lounge of Bield Abercrombi­e Court, Station Road, St Monans, on Tuesday, from 10am to noon.

KIRK MEETING

There will be a short but important meeting of the kirk session of Culross and Torryburn Parish Church on Tuesday, at 7pm, in High Valleyfiel­d Church.
